My hdmi 2av is 2160p like you see
Maybe you have 1080 version
Yeah I noticed this.
My splitter downscale 1 output so I get 2160 for the tv, and 1080 for the HDMI2AV
You have to consider that kodi and Hyperion are totally independent.
They run on the same hardware but they are separated.
yes that is true.
with my hdmi2av will it work like yours?
Or should I get an 1080 one
Buddy it worked for me!
but what I see now; the leds are not working perfectly as the internal grabber.
do i need a another usb grabber? The mine is with rca cable yellow. Maybe I need a modern one?
Before changing the grabber, which in m'y opinion is perfectly fine, you should try and play with the settings of hyperion.NG...
What is the problem with your LEDs ?
With 1080p movies the leds working smoothly. And with 4k it is working as wel, but not so smooth as by 1080 movies. A little bit flickering effect something like that
Maybe it is your HDMI2AV converter which is not at ease with downscaling from 4k to composite.
This is what I use :

I looked into your splitter and it is almost the same as mine. The one of my is also with 1080 scaler down and other specs.
yeah maybe the hdmi2av. I have a friend who has the 1080 version. Perhaps could try that one.
and do you have link of your usb grabber?
I got it a long time ago on Amazon and it's not available anymore.
It's a UTV007, not UTVF007, but that should not change anything for you.
So then we have the same version model I guess
could you sent a picture of your grabber settings from:
If the settings are the same then the converter could be the problem
Thnx. I am at work. I will check at home
Still the same little flickering leds. So probably the 2160 converter is too much I think.
and also if I switch to internal grabber of the pi for 1080 content the tv goed to NO SIGNAL.
You have any idea why? Maybe because the pi is connected to the splitter and not direct to the tv?
With 1080 hdmi2av converter the colors where not like the 2160 converter. And more leds were flickering.
somebody any tip ?
Flickering is a power problem.
How do you control the LEDs ? Directly from the Pi ?
If so did you add a resistor on the data line ? The Pi share the same ground as the LEDs ?
I control the leds directly from the pi with jst connector. No ressistor and the pi is share the same ground as led I think.
With internal (dispmanx) grabber no flickering leds.
With usb grabber little flickering leds at black screens. I try with the 1080p converter and 2160
By the way the 2160 is less flicker and better colors then the other converter.
Yeah I see, that is not flickering then.
You have to adjust colors and set some values for the thresholds.
Okay maybe that could be hahaha. But now I think why you do not have that problem?
Did you also adjust colors and set other values for thresholds?
Separate names with a comma.
