    Hi,
Yesterday I started using Hyperion with my rgb strip after cutting the strips the right length for my monitor and soldering them together I can use effects just fine, however when I am trying to set a solid color it just shows random colors all over the strip. Did I forget to do something because I cannot find out why this happens. Also side question do I need to solder the end of the strip to the beginning? I followed a video on YouTube and he did this but i don't understand why.

    Hardware:
    raspberry pi 2 model b
    ws2812b rgb strip (3,5M)
    5v 8amps power adapter

Does not recognize the command. I can see Hyperion is running but when I check my router it does not show the device, the strange part is that I am connected to it with ssh.

there is only one instance running. I did a clean install before installing alpha6, I tried installing it 2 times this way and got the same result. As of now only alpha7 launched but with the problem described above

I have the exact same issue - both with solid colors showing as a rainbow on v7 and with v6 failing to load the WebUI

Are the issues gone if I compile a new version?

Same for me. Is there any estimate for the next build?

Or you load the latest masterbuild from the Hyperion Githib actions.

I also had some issues with alpha6's web interface. It works intermittently, but one "trick" I've found is to try different browsers. My iPhone has problems accessing the site, but my desktop with Firefox works almost every time.

I spent hours debugging every aspect of my hardware and software setup only to realize the flickering was a bug. I went back to the original Hyperion - it is much more stable.

Will check out the next gen version again once it's out of alpha - the web interface is awesome.
