Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone could help me with the software and of doing an installation with APA 102 light strips. I have them fed into the right GPIO pins from the tutorial, but am struggling to set up the profiles correctly for the input and output. My major struggle is to get a reactive respond/effect from them other than start-up.

My supply is 5v 15 amp, RPI 3B+, no level shifter (no lights flickering yet), and no Arduino.

I am going to set up a USB capture card and a cast from my PC, but I can't get the lights to respond and double checked everything on the pi was updated. Using alpha 8.

I have looked around, but not a lot of answers with setting up the software end of it for what I feel like is a basic thing I am missing.
